Garlic Soup who knew and this is good for colds and flu too.

Can you believe that one time I used garlic on my skin directly to heal a skin condition. Well little did I know of it’s power. It actually ate a hole into my leg where the garlic was plastered in just an hours time! Surprised , yes to say in the least and of course in the end it did not cure the problem that made me put the garlic on my leg in the first place. A lesson to be learned there to be sure. But garlic  is quite a healer and should be used for flavor and for medicine. It is a real help .Yes garlic is so good for your immune system. Some people even cut garlic cloves in half and swallow them to help ward off an illness ,cold or cure an infection. Instead of that lets plan on eating our garlic with this delicious recipe for garlic soup. It can also be used as a sauce for vegetables or a grain . Enjoy

Garlic Soup
a rich and creamy soup to delight you with it's taste and smell too. Have parsley on hand to refresh your breath after.

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 quarts water
  2. 4 potatoes
  3. 1 carrot
  4. 2 stalks of celery
  5. 1 onion
  6. 2 large heads of garlic
  7. 1 teaspoon thyme
  8. 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  9. 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  10. dash of cayenne
  11. sea salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Bring your water to a boil. Cut the veggies into chunks. Add the vegetables to the water. Peel garlic and add to your soup pot with the rest of the spices. Cook soup over medium heat20-30 minutes till vegetables are tender. You can use this as a clear broth or blend and eat as a creamy soup.
