Gluten Free Pizza Crust Recipe well kind of sort of ……

this is using Bob’s Pizza crust mix. I have enhanced the directions to make it better Pizza the dairy free and gluten free waybecause  that is what I do.:

Pizza Crust Changes :

the recipe says to use two eggs I use 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds mixed with 6 tablespoons of water. Let stand till they are jelled.

Add a teaspoon of oregano

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

add 1/2 to one teaspoon of salt the mix , it adds lots of flavor

if you can find it there is something called dough enhancer which is gluten free. add one tablespoon of that to the mix.

after you do the blending of the mixture as recommended  turn mixer to high speed and beat on high speed for three more minutes.

when you let the dough rise or rest have the oven set to 200 while you mix the dough then turn off the oven and let the dough rise in the warm oven for the 20 minutes.

To make life so much easier put parchment paper over your pizza pan the clean up is so much easier.

sprinkle some cornmeal onto the parchment paper then place dough on top. Have warm water ready and dip your hands often to spread the dough out for the crust this is a must dip often all this water will not affect the crusts integrity.

poke the crust with a fork before baking it to stop the bubbles that form. Also check on the crust when par baking the crust some still might form.

make both pizza crusts at least par bake both so when you do the next pizza night it speeds up the process.

When the crust mix comes on sale at your local coop buying club or the store buy lots and you will be saving your self lots of money through out the year.

If you have to be dairy free like us, use the cashew cream recipe to make a non-dairy cheeze for the pizza. We add lots of veggies and I like pesto on the pizza too. If using fresh spinach with the cashew cream you need to mix the chopped spinach into the cheeze or it will burn if you just put it on top of the cheeze.
